Store owner Farris Alameh is always working to improve his store and the neighborhood. He has expanded the fresh fruit and vegetable product mix to include apples, oranges, bananas and other seasonal fruit. Working with Cleveland City Councilman Brian Cummins’ office, he rehabbed the front curb, replacing blacktop with a strip of hedges and flowers. Perhaps most exciting, Farris has worked with neighborhood residents to host a Saturday morning farmer’s market and CSA pick-up. Locally grown produce will be available for sale every Saturday from 10am-1pm starting July18th. Come on down! No bike rack available.
